The Only Thing to Fear is Fear Itself and Spiders

 

This funny sign is for Halloween or for people like me who are afraid of spiders.  On a black worn finish with warm white lettering and a glittery spider web.  I actually thought of this watching Ghost Hunters, as one of the members is terribly afraid of spiders but not ghosts.

 

Signs are made of ½ inch mdf, a wooden building material which won't warp or crack. The material is smooth, without knots and makes for a much nicer finished sign.

Each sign is cut to shape and painted with acrylic paint and sanded. The design is then painted on, each individually and each is a little different. A final top coat of a catalyzed varnish is applied and the sign is ready to go. Key-hole slots are cut in the back for hanging on a nail or screw.  The sign slides onto the nail or screw and fits flat against the wall.
